This Is The Place....and our near tragedy!!!

Okay so before we got hit with this cold snowy winter we were able to go with the whole WIlkinson Clan to This Is the Place State Park. It is so cute....a whole bunch of pioneer homes, a petting zoo, a train (more like a tram that looks like a train), cute little stores with old fashioned candy and treats. And you get to do three crafts in the different homes (one home even gives you a cookie...yummy.) During the holiday season their crafts were all holidaish....like stringing popcorn on the tree. It was so fun. My brother Jared from Hawaii even came with his little boy Eli. Oh it was fun except for our near panic we had when we couldn't find Kiali. We go to get on the train/tram to go to the other side of the park. And if you've ever seen a bunch of little Wilkinson cousins....they just all hook up with eachother and think they are teenagers. Which is great... except for your kids to be with the group! So Kiali had been with Alyson her 12 year old cousin but she was feeling sick & they went home. So as we are getting on the tram, we are counting heads...until we realize we are missing one of our five munchkins....Scarrrrrryyyy! Because the park is dark....and all you can think of is some child predator stealing your kid and disappearing to never be heard from again. We were SICK! (Okay maybe we should stop having kids...this was way to tramatic!) Could have been tragic....Elizabeth Smart all over again...okay I am exageratting but that was a long 5 minutes. Okay we went back to the cozy house where we were stringing popcorn and she was sitting on a sweet ladies lap...Ahhhhh we have never been so sick. All kinds of thought go through your mind. How the heck do you just leave a kid??? Anyway that is the downfall to going as a big group anywhere...counting your kids heads is much harder when they are scattered among all their cousins....But we survived and she is safe with us now.
