This is my favorite holiday (besides Christmas & Thanksgiving). Every year we get up early to watch the Pepperwood Parade. The kids would rather sit on the side & get candy instead of doing a float. Some people are amazing! And for being a neighborhood parade it ROCKS! People put a TON of time & money into this.
After the parade we follow them up to the pavilion & they provide breakfast, music & small bands for entertainment until the real party begins! The kids look forward every year when they get to dive for soda pop & money, swim relay races, belly flop contests, and watermelon basketball (in the deep end with a greased up watermelon!) Super fun!
The Isoms threw a big party at their house this year...waterslides, babypools, driving cars, pinatas, shaved ice & a big BBQ!!!
